Troubleshooting

If the plugin fails to load, or doesn't render your composition correctly, try one of the troubleshooting steps below:

Clear the OpenFX plugin cache

If you installed Autograph and the "Autograph Live Link" plugin doesn't show in Resolve, or if Resolve fails to load the "Autograph Live Link" plugin, try to clear Resolve's OpenFX plugin cache:

  • On windows, remove the file located at C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\OFXPluginCacheV2.xml.
  • On macOS, remove the file located at TODO

(Windows) Disable the CUDA code path

On windows, Live Link uses CUDA where available to speed up rendering. If you see visual artifacts in Resolve or a black screen, but the plugin otherwise loads correctly, you can try these steps to disable CUDA in Live Link:

  1. Quit Resolve
  2. Add an environment variable named AG_EMBED_DISABLE_CUDA with value 1.
  3. Clear the OpenFX plugin cache by following the procedure described above.

Live Link will then fall back to a slower code path that doesn't use CUDA.
