License Types

Autograph offers 2 license schemes:

• Node-locked licensing: A license is linked to a Left Angle account and can only be activated on one computer at a time. Activation and deactivation requires an internet connection. To easily switch to another device using your license, there is an "Auto Deactivation" option in the Autograph Home Panel under the Account tab that you can check which will automatically deactivate your license when quitting the program and reactivate it when starting it up again.

• Floating server licensing: A server is installed on premise on a server you own. The server is delivered with a pool of licenses that can be delivered to computers that connect to the server. Only the computer on which the server is running will need to periodically connect to the internet to check the validity of the license. Other computers running Autograph do not need an internet connection to run the software.
