Audio Modifiers

When using an Audio Analyzer it's possible to filter frequencies during analysis in order to exclude certain information. Keep in mind that the sound produced by the Audio Mix will still be the same because the sources of the audio layers haven't undergone this frequency loss.

In the same way that changing the Volume Gain parameter can affect the sound you hear, you can add Modifiers to an audio layer to alter the sound it produces.

These Modifiers can be added to the Audio Source parameter of an audio layer. Examples include the following Modifiers:

Channel Pan

This Modifier acts in the same way as the parameters in the Source Channel Remapping group described in [this section].(../audio/mixing_audio_sources.md).

Rather than modifying the reader's Audio Source parameters, which could be shared between several layers, this Modifier allows you to locally change the mix between different channels.

Curve Equalizer

This Modifier features a Gain Curve parameter which contains a button for automatically switching to Curve Editor mode.

The various frequencies that make up a sound at the current time are then displayed, and a curve allows you to filter certain frequencies in the same way as the Frequency Weights parameter in the Audio Analyzer Generator.
