Troubleshooting
The plugin fails to load
If you installed Autograph and the "Autograph Live Link" plugin doesn't show in Resolve, or if Resolve fails to load the "Autograph Live Link" plugin, try to clear Resolve's OpenFX plugin cache:
- On windows, remove the file located at
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\OFXPluginCacheV2.xml
. - On macOS, remove the file located at
/Users/user/Library/Containers/com.blackmagic-design.DaVinciResolveLite/Data/Library/Application Support/OFXPluginCacheV2.xml
My project isn't rendered correctly / there are visual artifacts in the rendered frame
On windows, Live Link uses CUDA where available to speed up rendering. If you see visual artifacts in Resolve or a black screen, you can try these steps to disable CUDA in Live Link:
- Quit Resolve
- Add an environment variable named
AG_EMBED_DISABLE_CUDA
with value1
. - Clear the OpenFX plugin cache by following the procedure described above.
Live Link will then fall back to a slower code path that doesn't use CUDA.
The library is empty
On windows, the library of preinstalled templates is automatically updated by the Autograph Content Updater
service. You can force an update by restarting the service manually: in the Task Manager, go to the Services tab, right-click on the "Autograph Content Updater" entry and choose Restart.
