Plugin User Interface
To control Live Link in Resolve, open the Inspector panel and go to the Effects tab, and look for the Autograph Live Link entry.
Use this panel to load Autograph projects in Live Link and control the parameters of the loaded project.
Loading a Project or Template from a file
Click Open Project to open an Autograph project or template file. The parameters of the main composition will appear in the plugin UI.
Autograph Starter limitations
Loading arbitrary Autograph files is reserved to users who purchased an Autograph license. Files loaded this way with Autograph Starter will be watermarked. Refer to Loading Autograph Starter projects to load Starter projects without the watermarks.
Library
Live Link comes with a library of preinstalled effects, generators and transitions.
To access the library, click on Browse Library. If you haven't purchased an Autograph license, enter your Autograph account credentials when prompted. Licensed users can access library content without signing in.
Troubleshooting
If you have purchased a license for Autograph but still see the login dialog, you may have to run Autograph first to activate your license.
Loading Autograph Starter projects
When you sign in with a Starter account and open the library, you will first see a page with your Autograph Starter projects:
This allows you to load your Starter projects in live link. To browse the preinstalled library of effects, click Browse Template Library.
Adding custom content to the gallery
Gallery content is stored in <Documents>/LeftAngle/Autograph Live Link
. If you own a licensed version of Autograph, you can put your own project files there, and they will be displayed in the gallery alongside the preinstalled projects.
Miscellaneous parameters
- Force Time Stretch: when checked, this will speed up or slow down your effect so that it matches the duration of the clip in Resolve. This can be useful if you created your composition in Autograph with hard-coded keyframes and want to stretch the animation to the duration of the clip. If unchecked, the effect will play back at the speed defined in Autograph, regardless of the clip duration in Resolve.
